Fuel Excise Duty Tax is a tax unique to petrol used off-road or in machinery. There’s a good chance that you could be exempt from the Fuel Tax and may be eligible to claim $0.76 + GST for every litre used off road. Refunded can make this difficult process simple for you. From midnight March 14 2022 the Government has temporarily reduced the fuel excise tax rate from 76 cents to 51 cents + GST per litre. Our smart system will do the work, NZTA will deposit your refund directly into your account every quarter.
